Rhythm NewMedia has been selected by Vodafone (News - Alert) Spain to offer personalized ads to that company’s more than four million 3G subscribers. Ten Spanish brands are taking part in the fourth-month-long Vodafone Spain Mobile Marketing Discovery Program.
Turnkey mobile advertising solutions are one of Rhythm NewMedia’s specialties. The company’s service portfolio includes ad serving, ad sales and content sourcing. Rhythm's patent-pending ad platform offers wide reach, precise targeting and frequency management, high customer satisfaction, extensive reporting and efficient business process automation.
By virtue of the deal with Rhythm, Vodafone subscribers can gain access to breaking news, weather, horoscopes, sports highlights and celebrity news highlights for the first time through a completely ad-funded model. Rhythm was selected by the telecom service provider for its experience in mobile video as well its ability to deliver an end to end ad-funded solution, speed to market and a patent-pending system for measuring customer satisfaction and ad effectiveness.
Rhythm offers unique real-time measurement of ad effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Several large mobile operators—including 3-UK, Telecom Italia (News - Alert) and T-Mobile-UK—are presently using Rhythm’s service, while a few are in the pipeline. Rhythm also offers its services to top brands, content providers and advertising agencies worldwide.
“We see this service growing rapidly as subscribers watch and demand more and more video on their mobiles,” said Inaki Cabrera, head of the mobile marketing business unit at Vodafone Spain, in a statement. “We're excited to work with Rhythm to provide short video clips to our customers, completely free of charge.”
The patent-pending ad system used by Rhythm makes use of sophisticated targeting to personalize ads. The seamless integration and personalization model is designed to create higher levels of customer satisfaction. With the system, monitoring viewing frequency will be easier and more accurate. Users can track the campaign success rates with the help of this technology.
"We're excited to work with Vodafone to help brands better target customers through mobile ads in the form of short, bite-sized entertainment that we call video snacks," Owen Hanks, senior director of EMEA for Rhythm NewMedia, said in a statement.
