Ujjal Kohli
Chief Executive Officer

Ujjal has over 25 years of experience in general management, engineering, marketing, strategy, M&A, and venture capital.

Ujjal was EVP of Marketing & Sales for AirTouch Cellular, a $3.5 Billion revenue mobile carrier. As EVP of Marketing & Sales, Ujjal led the creation and development of the AirTouch Cellular brand. Ujjal also led AirTouch Business Units in Northern and Southern California as VP/GM in his six years at AirTouch Cellular.

Before AirTouch, Ujjal was with McKinsey in their technology practice. Ujjal started his career at Intel Corporation, first in engineering and subsequently in marketing.

Ujjal holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi), an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester and an MBA from Harvard Business School

Gary Little
General Partner, Morgenthaler Ventures

In 1997, Gary joined the Menlo Park office of Morgenthaler Ventures, a leading venture capital firm with $2.5 billion under management. He focuses on Internet services, digital media and software. Gary currently serves on the boards of NexTag, Netli, JasperSoft, SNOCAP, Rhythm NewMedia and imeem. Gary also led Morgenthaler's investment in TimesTen, acquired by Oracle, and in KnowledgeNet, acquired by the Thompson Corp.

Gary came to Morgenthaler from Apple Computer where he served as Sr. Vice President and GM of the $3 billion Power Macintosh division. Earlier, as Vice President of Sales, he oversaw channel distribution in North America and managed Apple's $1.2 billion small business market. Gary also served as Sr. Director of Marketing for Apple's $2.9 billion Pacific division (Japan, Asia, Latin America, Canada) where he directed a $150-million marketing and merchandising budget.

Previously, Gary spent seven years at Sun Microsystems where he was Director of Product Marketing for the Solaris Products Division, Sun's largest software division. He also led marketing for Sun's Intercontinental Division, helping establish Sun's presence in Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Africa and included a 2.5 year posting in Hong Kong. Earlier, as Group Manager of Industry Marketing, he helped lead Sun's entry into the financial services and telecommunications industries.

Before Sun, Gary was an Associate with the venture capital firm Venrock Associates. Prior to business school, Gary held sales and marketing positions at IBM. He began his career as an IC design engineer for TRW's microelectronics research labs. Gary earned an MBA from Harvard University and a BSEE from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Paul Reddick

Until recently, Paul was the Vice President of Partner Development and Product Innovation at Sprint. His role included exploring new product and service opportunities, developing external alliances, driving opportunistic investment - including the founding of Sprint Nextel Ventures, and a robust partner/developer program that provided third parties with the tools and access needed to develop content, applications and new products. Paul’s keen grasp of the mobile entertainment market and his ability to forecast wireless entertainment trends has made him a sought after and respected thought leader on a global scale. He recently earned a spot on Mobile Entertainment’s “50 most important people in mobile content”

Prior to that, Paul was the Vice President of Business Development, Strategy and Planning for Sprint’s consumer division. He led the pursuit of both near- and longer-term business development opportunities, including mobile entertainment, location-based services, mobile financial services, broadband wireless data and creative new forms of distribution. He also drove operating plans for the business overall.

In past business development efforts, Paul led industry-first agreements between wireless carriers and many major Internet brands; inception through launch of Sprint Sites USA, Sprint’s tower leasing business; a groundbreaking strategic initiative to launch Sprint’s highest-end business sales force and sales support capabilities for selling large enterprise integrated solutions; and the decision by Sprint to pursue a wireless high-speed data network deployment.

At Sprint, Paul also held the role of Vice President of Product Management and Development for Sprint PCS, responsible for the product strategy, implementation, and launch of a wide array of voice and data products.

Before Sprint, Paul was with the Dallas and Oslo offices of McKinsey and Company, Inc., where he led strategy development, new business launches, divestitures, and operational improvement initiatives for clients in multiple industries in both the US and Europe. Paul also has prior experience in the chemical industry, where he developed process control systems and managed plant operations for Dow Chemical.

Paul has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas and an MBA from Stanford University.

Christopher Schaepe
General Partner, Lightspeed Ventures

Christopher Schaepe is a founding general partner of Lightspeed Venture Partners, an early-stage technology venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, CA with offices in Asia and Israel. He has 15 years of venture capital experience and invests in areas including infrastructure technologies, digital media and services. Mr. Schaepe has been responsible for investments including AMEC, Brocade, Ciena, Combinet, eHealth, Galileo Technology, LightLogic, Lightspeed International, Premisys, Quantum Effect Devices, Rhythm NewMedia, Riverbed, SemEquip, SiPort, Terayon, Transmeta, Tzero and Unity. Prior to Lightspeed, he was a general partner at Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners after serving in corporate finance and capital markets roles at Goldman Sachs. Previously, Mr. Schaepe was a software engineer at IBM. He holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Stanford Business School.

Allan Thygesen

Allan Thygesen is an independent investor, and lives in Menlo Park, California.

Mr. Thygesen served as Managing Director, US Venture for The Carlyle Group from 2001 to 2008.  Before joining Carlyle in February 2001, Mr. Thygesen served as the Executive Vice President, Sales and Business Development of Wink Communications, a provider of an end-to-end software platform for interactive television services. Mr. Thygesen joined Wink in July 1996, and developed and led Wink's relationships with Wink's largest cable and satellite operator customers, broadcast and cable networks, advertisers and advertising agencies, and consumer electronics manufacturers. At Wink, Mr. Thygesen also served as Interim Chief Financial Officer in preparation for the company's initial public offering (NASDAQ: WINK) in August 1999.

Earlier, Mr. Thygesen served in a variety of executive, sales, marketing, customer service and finance management roles at Gold Disk, Inc., a venture-backed publisher of personal and corporate productivity software, at Media Vision Technologies, Inc., a multimedia hardware manufacturer and publisher of CD-ROM entertainment software, at Pellucid, a venture-backed start-up developing 3D graphics hardware acquired by Media Vision in May of 1993, at Everex Systems, a manufacturer of personal computers and peripheral products, and at Radiometer A/S, a manufacturer of medical measuring equipment.

Mr. Thygesen received an MSc degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and a M.B.A. degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated as an Arjay Miller scholar. His investments include Air2Web, Archetype Solutions, Canesta, Indigo Systems (sold to NASDAQ: FLIR), Rhythm New Media, SMaL Camera (sold to NYSE: CY), TradeBeam and Viator.
