Instead of going to the bank, use your mobile device. Mobile banking is growing like a weed, on steroids and HGH (We aren’t sure that would actually work, but you get the idea.) Don’t just take our word for the demand for mobile banking , how about these stats from consumers surveyed across Rhythm’s collection of premium mobile properties:
- 88% of Rhythm's audience is willing to download a mobile app from their bank or credit card provider
- 35% access banking features on their device daily
- 74% of Rhythm's audience has used mobile banking features in the past year (vs. 21% mobile phone/feature phone average and 57% smartphone average)
- 81% willing to check account balances or recent transactions on their device
- 66% willing to pay bills on their device
- 63% willing to transfer money between accounts on their device
- 55% willing to use mobile app from bank/finance service provider
- 54% willing to receive informative text messages from their bank
- 50% willing to pay credit card bills on their device
- 44% willing to deposit checks using device camera
- 37% willing to accept payments on their device
- 34% wiling to send money through their device
What was that? Yeah we agree, those are pretty crazy stats!
