As we have discussed previously on this blog, mobile video advertising is projected to boom. Recently released reports back this claim and show steep growth.
An eMarketer study shows that spending on mobile advertising in 2011 topped $1.45 billion. And the study projects that number to increase 80% to $2.61 billion in 2012. Mobilevideo advertising is on an even steeper growth curve, with spend expected to explode 122% in 2012!
With mobile video advertising’s unprecedented effectiveness, like an 87% completion rate for In-Stream video ads, it’s no wonder brands are cannonballing in to the mobile advertising ocean.
